I want to make a positive impact on the world, starting with the city I live in: Utrecht. Everybody is talented in his or her own way. Being an entrepreneur myself, my goal is to make sure that as many people as possible are able to use their talent, both in their jobs and personal lives. Social entrepreneurship and the development of entrepreneurial skills are necessary to find out what you’re good at, what you like, and what’s out there in the world. These also allow you to find out that you can do a lot of those things together with others, in a way that’s meaningful to yourself and to others.

Let me give some examples: with Young Ambition I’m working on realising a centre where drop-outs can explore what they really like and want to do, by experiencing jobs and working on real orders; for OWC I teach young people about (social) entrepreneurship and help them start their own business; and for Starters4Communities I manage a trainee program in social entrepreneurship for young adults that just graduated higher education.
