YouthStart European Entrepreneurship Award Dublin 2012

YouthStart European Entrepreneurship Award

NOVEMBER 2012
DUBLIN, IRELAND

Foróige hosted the 4th annual European Business Plan Competition in 2012.  The event took place in Dublin, Ireland in November 2012 with participating countries sending up to 3 young people and 3 adults.  The event included representatives from Ireland, the U.K., Austria, Belgium and Germany

The aim of the event was to enhance the learning experience for young people as they engage with each other from other EU countries.  This event enriched their entrepreneurial skills, business acumen, leadership and personal development skills, and sense of community connectedness with young people.  It also provided them with an opportunity to gain an exposure to other cultures and languages.

The three day event included workshops and entrepreneurial activities for both young people and CET’s, and the Business Plan Competition in the Science Gallery in Dublin.  At the completion all participants had the opportunity to have a stand and display their products for judges and invited guests to see.
